ALTAR GUILD---Our goal as the Altar Guild is to show the love of Christ and to be God's representatives in serving Him and His Church. The Altar Guild is in charge of dressing the altar for worship services, managing the Altar Flower Fund, ordering flowers for special holidays, and scheduling acolytes.
FOOD SERVICE COMMITTEE---The responsibilities of this committee include: supervision of the church and grove kitchens, maintaining supplies, equipment, serving meals for the church and community functions, and cooking and serving funeral meals. Our emphasis is on SERVICE.
SOCIAL MINISTRY---The purpose of this committee shall be to extend Christian compassion and helpfulness to the ill, aged, orphaned, underprivileged, imprisoned, and in general to persons of all ages in need of aid in body or soul. It shall strive to enlist in these efforts as many as possible of individual members and organizations of the congregation. This committee shall further have the duty to study social conditions, primarily in the local community.
CEMETERY COMMITTEE--Members of the committee assign lots, collect monies for lots, maintain, repair, and upkeep the property, and assure that the cemetery rules are enforced.
